Årets klyngekonferanse fokuserte på «Innovasjon som konkurransefortrinn». Innovasjon spiller en avgjørende rolle for å opprettholde og styrke bedrifters konkurransekraft ved å kontinuerlig utvikle nye og unike produkter, løsninger og tjenester. Ledende aktører, både fra klyngen og utenfor, delte sine erfaringer og perspektiver på innovasjon som en suksessfaktor. Vi fikk verdifull innsikt i nyutvikling innen grønn teknologi, bærekraft utforsket nærmere drivkraften i samarbeid, og ble utfordret til å tenke utenfor vår egen bransje.
Vi lanserte i år «Blue Maritime Cluster Awards». To priser som ble utdelt for å anerkjenne pioneerer innen den maritime bransjen, og dedikerte klyngemedlemmer. Prisen «Blue Maritime Innovation of the year» ble tildelt VARD og REM Purus for deres fartøy Rem Power. Årets «Blue Maritime Cluster Award» ble tildelt Per Erik Dalen for hans bidrag til den maritime klyngen og rolle i etableringen av nasjonale klyngeprogrammer.
Etter konferansen inviterte vi til «Blue Maritime Hangout», som gav god anledning til å fortsette diskusjonene og nettverksbyggingen i en avslappet atmosfære med god mat og drikke.

The 2023 GCE Blue Maritime Cluster Conference
The 2023 GCE Blue Maritime Cluster Conference was attended by 300 participants and had a diverse agenda. The conference aimed to explore the role of innovation as a potential competitive edge. The event provided a unique opportunity for participants to gain insights into the latest trends in innovation and to engage in meaningful discussions with industry experts and peers. The conference’s focus on innovation underscored the importance of staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing business environment and the need for businesses to utilize innovation as a strategic advantage.
For the first year, the Blue Maritime Awards was awarded. The “Blue Maritime Innovation of the year award” was awarded to VARD and REM Purus for the vessel Rem Power for its role as an innovation platform. The «Blue Maritime Cluster Award» was awarded to Per Erik Dalen for his outstanding contribution to the maritime cluster and his role in establishing national cluster programs.
Following the conference, we organized a Blue Maritime Hangout, which provided a chance for cluster members to socialize, enjoy good food, and engage in good conversation. Throughout the year, we have arranged several Blue Maritime Hangouts providing a valuable forum for interaction and networking.
