I 2023 har GCE Blue Maritime Cluster ytterligere intensivert innsatsen for å styrke klyngens kompetanse og konkurransekraft. Vårt fokus har vært å fortsette arbeidet med å operasjonalisere «New Blue Deal»-strategien, med ambisjon om å bli verdens første uttslippsfrie maritime klynge. Med forankring i vår strategi og regjeringens satsning på økt maritim eksport har vi aktivt bidratt for å øke klyngens kommersielle og faglige innovasjonsevne inn mot det grønne skiftet. Arbeidet med å sikre at strategien vår reflekterer de krav og forventninger som er gjeldende, er en kontinuerlig prosess som vil vedvare inn i 2024.
Vi har gjennom året fortsatt arbeidet for å være en viktig samarbeidspartner og bidragsyter innen forskning og utvikling, kompetanseheving og relevant markedsinnsikt. Tilbakemeldinger og engasjement fra klyngen gjennom året bekrefter at våre aktiviteter treffer behovene i klyngen, og motiverer oss til å fortsette denne retningen.

Further intensifying efforts towards the New Blue Deal
In 2023, the GCE Blue Maritime Cluster further intensified efforts to strengthen its competence and competitiveness. Our focus has been to continue our work operationalizing the «New Blue Deal» strategy, with the ambition to become the world’s first zero-emission maritime cluster. We have actively contributed to increase the cluster’s commercial and professional innovation capacity towards the green shift based on our strategy and the Norwegian government’s action plan for maritime exports.
During the year, we have continuously worked on strengthening our role as a trusted partner and contributor in research and development, competence enhancement, and market insights. Feedback and commitment from the cluster during the year confirm that our activities align with the needs of the cluster and help reinforce our need to continue to deliver according to this demand. The work to ensure that our strategy reflects the requirements and expectations that apply is a continuous process that will continue into 2024.
